We all desire to feel at peace, to live a fulfilled and happy life. The problem we face is past traumas and deeply engrained patterns seem to control much of our lives. The process to release these patterns, is often long and arduous. With the help of psilocybin we can speed up the
healing process. Psilocybin has the natural capacity to create new neurons and neural pathways, and also to repair existing neurological damage. Meaning the mind and body has the capacity to heal, bringing balance and harmony into the entire nervous system. The other good news is we do not need to take large doses and have psychoactive experiences to achieve the desired results. Through small, yet consistent use of psilocybin we slowly loosen the grip the past neural patterns have on the mind. Releasing past traumas and taking back control of our life.
What is Micro-dosing?
Microdosing is the act of consuming sub-perceptual amounts of a psychedelic substance. In this case and most frequently microdosing is talking specifically about consuming small amounts of psilocybin. It is suggested a microdose is 1/10 to 1/20 a typical large dose. Large doses can range from 2-4 grams, where micro-doses are typically .1-.4 grams taken over an extended period of time.
Benefits:
Common reported benefits include increased energy, focus, joy and interest in life, creativity, flow states, productivity, confidence and improvement in relations. As well as reduced stress, anxiety, and depression. Microdosing has often been used to help PTSD, severe depression and coming off various pharmaceutical drugs. Many have also found microdosing has increased their spiritual awareness and overall understanding of their place and purpose on this planet. More benefits of microdosing are being discovered every day.
Regiment:
Two of the largest pioneers in microdosing, Paul Stamets and James Fadiman have created specific regiments to follow. Stamets focuses on smaller doses (.1 psilocybin) taken more frequently. Where Fadiman suggests slightly larger doses (.25 psilocybin) with breaks in between.
Micro-Micro Bliss (.1g)
Regimen - Stamets recommends taking a microdose four days on and three days off. Giving the nervous system a little break and a chance for you to experience the benefits even when not taking the medicine.
Micro Bliss (.25g):
Regimen - Fadiman recommends taking a micro-dose once every three days: Take a microdose on Day 1. Then, do not take on day 2 or day 3. On day 4, take another microdose.
Many think they will only feel the effects of the microdose on the days they are taking it. However, many find even on the days off they experience increase joy, energy and overall sense of well-being. Remember the goal isn't to have peak psychedelic experiences, the goal is to heal and enjoy the process.
When To Take:
For most people, morning is the best time to take the medicine because the beneficial effects will last throughout the day without interfering with sleep. It’s also helpful to follow your usual routine while microdosing. By integrating mushrooms in this way you are giving the neurons a chance to generate new pathways and you an opportunity to look at your current life through a new lens. However, the first time you take a microdose it is recommended to do on a day off. A day when you have no obligations, allows you to fully experience the subtle benefits and unusual effects.
How Long to Take: We recommend starting with a period of 30-60 days. The effects compound over time, so it's important to take the microdoses long enough to allow neuroplasticity to take place. For the first 30 days we highly recommend sticking to your schedule. After the month, check in with yourself and talk to a micro-dosing coach to figure out if any adjustments are needed.
Ingredients: On top of the psilocybin we recommend partnering with functional mushrooms and other herbs that enhance the healing neurological properties of the medicine. These include Lions mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Chaga, Maitaike, Ashwaganda and Niacin.
Lions mane and niacin in combination help with neuroplasticity, repairing neurological damage and increasing general well-being. Niacin works as a flushing agent and carries GABA across the blood-brain barrier, which helps with the distribution of the psilocybin molecules. The rest of the functional mushrooms carry their own properties, helping with overall health, inflammation, energy and regulating the nervous system.
Additional Practices:
While microdosing will naturally put you in a better space, there are ways to optimize the practice for more growth and transformation. A few of the recommended practices that will improve your results are journaling, intentions, breath-work and meditation.

resources mother earth has offered.
Additional Practices:
Journaling: Have a journal dedicated specifically for microdosing. In your journal you can write down your intentions and track your daily progress. At the start of the day write your intentions for that day. At the end of the day track your results, everything that came up, how you felt, if you
noticed anything different. By developing a daily practice of journaling, we not only track our microdosing but also increase our awareness of self. Meaning we become more conscious of our thoughts, emotions and moment to moment interactions.
Intentions: Intentions help give meaning, direction and purpose. On a microdosing day, start by formulating an intention or question for that day. For example, what do you want to pay extra attention to that day? What do you want to become more aware of? Which behavioral patterns would you like to change? It’s best to write down behavior and thought patterns as soon as you notice them. Keeping our intentions present throughout the day, naturally makes us more mindful. With more awareness comes more possibility for change. Most our problems are stored in our
sub/unconscious, by becoming conscious of them they no longer have control over our thoughts, actions and reactions to life.
Breath-work: Breathing exercises or pranayama. Finding ways to regulate the nervous system using the breath naturally brings calmness and relief. Our breath is the foundation of our entire experience. When we bring the breath into harmony literally every cell, every neuron, every function of our physical, mental and emotional system naturally comes into balance. There are numerous types of breath-work available, find the practices that work for you and practice them daily.
Meditation: Meditation, taking time to be along and observe the entire nervous system without interacting with it. When we stop interacting with the thoughts and our environment, there becomes space in our mind for our natural qualities of joy and contentment to be felt and experienced. A
silent mind is a fully open and receptive mind. Everything is awareness, meaning everything we experience is happening to us. What we focus our attention on grows. Learning to expand our consciousness outside our thoughts, we naturally take a step away from our patterns. Our past only
exists as long as we give it our attention, only as long as we think about it. Meditation teaches us a new way to fully acknowledge our experience and gives us space to create a new way of being.
